Rare $20,000 Cybersecurity Project Funding Opportunity

The State of Ohio has released $6.84 million in State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) funding that municipalities may apply for by noon, September 16, 2024. 

This grant will cover up to $20,000 of your project costs. That’s right—the State of Ohio is funding grant awards up to $20,000 for this second year.

How the Funding Works 

We’ve researched the grant and developed an easy process to help you take advantage of these funds if you wish to use our services. We’ll: 

  • Help you process the grant application.
  • Ensure its technical and financial accuracy.
  • Work with Ohio’s State Administrative Agency (SAA), the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and CyberOhio, to submit it. 

However, there is a very tight deadline to apply, and we will attempt to complete and submit grant applications in the order we receive commitment from municipalities. 

We will need to submit your application by noon, September 16, 2024. The tight deadline is due to a variety of factors, but the deadline date is set by the SAA.

About the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program 

The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program is a U.S. federal grant program designed to enhance cybersecurity measures at the state and local government level. It provides funding to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments to improve their cybersecurity infrastructure, protocols, and response capabilities. 

The program aims to support the efforts of these entities in defending against cybersecurity threats, enhancing information sharing, and bolstering incident response capabilities.
